musical inspiration / refs

I know its a bit early but its never too late to think about these things.

When i first came up with the concept i had a couple of shows and games in mind.
Mass effect (space aesthetics), Borderlands (art style), Cat shit one (cute animals), Firefly (feel and music), Battlestar Galactica (camera work).

The theme song from Serenity opening sequence encompasses the broad cultural influences in the Firefly universe.

Our bunny hero lives in a poor mining colony in the fringes of the discovered galaxy. The folky fiddling music sets the tone for the world that our character lives in.

I definitely need string instruments.

Man.... no wait i mean... a Bunny in Uniform

The playful bunny cub (kitten...? spawn?) has all growed up and he is the best damn pilot in the whole galaxy.
He has one job and one job only.
He leads the team responsible for defense of the research ship Archimedes.
To him, the safety of the civilian crew members aboard the Archimedes is top priority...
Especially the safety of a certain chipmunk aboard the ship...

Archimedes hangar

Originally, Archimedes was supposed to be a dreadnaught class (several Km in length) military carrier. As time progressed the story changed. Archimedes is now a research vessel that travels to undiscovered galaxies and charts habitable or resource rich planets.

Regrettably, not all of the bunny galaxy is a hospitable or friendly place. There are numerous undiscovered threats that prey upon unsuspecting ships.

Icarus Fighter

Latest and greatest in manned defense fighter technology.
7 stablizing fins, 4 chemical thrusters, 2 mini magnetic rail cannons
and 1 badass bunny pilot.
